Project "Woman and Law" has been carried out since 1^st March 1007, in partnership of Udruzene Zene and Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly, with financial support of Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation and the Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA).

The aim of this project is to enhance legal and psychosocial security of women,  improve their position in society, family and public life, eliminate all types of discrimination based on gender and to accomplish gender equality.

Women and children, victims of domestic violence, may obtain free of charge legal advise and psycho-social aid in the Centre for Free Legal and Psychosocial Aid “Woman and Law”.

Around 4000 women received support through Centre’s activites since the project start.
