Representative of the Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly Banja Luka attended the second annual session of the structural dialogue on implementation of the Gender Action Plan (GAP III). This dialogue is aimed at consultation and partnership with civil society and local authorities in support of strategic engagement for gender equality. The event includes three main sessions that discussed:
– Gender equality in global context with presentations of EU representatives for gender and diversity, representatives of the Czech EU presidency, civil society and youth activists;
– Information and discussion on the progress of implementation of the GAP III document with contribution of the European Commission, civil society organizations and authority in relation to the previous process of implementation, main results and the path ahead.
– A thematic session at the plenary session focused on challenges and opportunities for gender equality in the digital world, including the presentation of key issues and contributions from panelists in the field.
This event is organized by the European External Action Service (EEAS) in cooperation with the European Commission.
