In Banjaluka, tomorrow, on October 12, begins two-day workshop for journalists on the topic “The Importance and Role of the Media in Environmental Protection”.
We will discuss smart urban mobility and transport from a gender perspective, the history of fight to protect Vrbas as well as heavy metals – who and why wants to work on the exploitation of heavy metals in BiH and why it is dangerous.
Part of the program will be also projection of the movie “Stay Safe and Speak Out” in production of the Center for Environment which talks about increasingly frequent pressures and attacks on environmental activists in our country.
The workshop is jointly organized by Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly Banjaluka and Center for Environment within the project “Profiling Journalists for Reporting on Environmental Topics”, supported by Journalismfund.eu.
