Bojana Ilić, a representative of the Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly Banja Luka, is attending the first Forum on Gender Equality, organized by the Government of Germany, which is currently being held in Berlin.
Together with the Swedish foundation Kvinna till Kvinna and partner organizations dealing with women’s rights from the Western Balkans, for two days, including the preparatory event, we had the privilege to learn more about the Berlin process on gender equality and women’s rights, with a special focus on the process of accession to the European Union.
It is a great honor for us that our contribution, as well as the contribution of our partners, in the field of promoting women’s rights and gender equality in the Western Balkans has been recognized and acknowledged.
This especially refers to the representation of women in the EU integration process of the region.
We are proud that we can actively contribute to the better position of women and their involvement in the EU accession process!
