Gender-based violence is a complex and widespread problem that affects women and girls around the world. At the core of this concept lies a deep-rooted inequality between the sexes, which manifests itself through various forms of violence.
Marija Obradović, a student at the Faculty of Law in Banja Luka, dealt with this topic. Her paper explores the historical, cultural, social and economic factors that contribute to the persistence of gender-based violence, with the aim of providing a deeper understanding of this complex problem and proposing effective strategies for its prevention and elimination.
