Activists of the Foundation United Women and the Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly BL implemented a street action on December 8, 2023, starting at 12 PM and distributed promotional material (flyers) to the citizens of Banja Luka. Four activists of these organizations used this street action, distribution of flyers and communication with citizens to point out the importance of establishing Day of Remembrance, as well as to emphasize the number of women who died in the war, which was unknown to most. We received encouraging reactions and support from most of the people we talked to.
