This paper deals with the problem of discrimination of persons with disabilities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with special reference to the field of education. First, the legal framework that regulates the rights and protection of persons with disabilities, including international conventions and national laws, is considered. In the second part of the paper, the current situation in society is analyzed, pointing out the different forms of discrimination to which persons with disabilities are exposed. Special attention is paid to issues of access to education for children and youth with disabilities, including obstacles that exist in the education system, such as lack of infrastructure, insufficient support and discrimination by other students and teachers.
