The workshop on strengthening the capacity of the Legal Team to assist human defenders rights in crisis situations ended today in Banja Luka with the preparation of the Book of Rules, which defines the basic terms and rules of the Legal Team’s work.
In addition, during the two-day workshop, methods of communication within the Legal Team, as well as with the public, were discussed.
In the first part of the workshop, lawyers and activists had the opportunity to learn about the working methods of two international organizations – Human Rights House Foundation and Front Line Defenders, which provide various types of assistance to human rights defenders around the world, from advisory, legal to financial.
