The Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly Banja Luka and @bhnovinari presented on Friday in Sarajevo the Helpline for Human Rights Defenders in BiH and the results of research on the media presentation of human rights under the title: (Non-)visibility and (re)presentation of human rights and their defenders in the media and public space in Bosnia and Herzegovina”.

The Helpline for Human Rights Defenders started working in early 2024 with the support of the European Union with the aim of providing free legal and emergency assistance to human rights defenders in BiH who suffer violence and numerous security attacks and threats due to the protection and public advocacy of human rights.
