The films that will be broadcasted were shot in the last two years in the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Croatia, and among other things, they talk about the number of migrants who lost their lives in the rivers they were trying to cross in order to reach the countries of the European Union. They also talk about how to create a new identity after the old one disappeared in the whirlwind of war, and how to fight with an incurable diagnosis and win the invincible, but also about other human rights issues.

Among others, the film “Brother” by Vanja Stokić and Ajdin Kamber, who received numerous awards for reporting on human rights and minority groups, including awards for humanity in journalism, will be broadcasted at the show.

In addition to “Brother”, the film “Reznica” by Davor Marinković, which shows two generations of refugees trying to create a new identity after the breakup of Yugoslavia, will be broadcasted, as well as the film “Travellers”, which talks about how music is for some travelers who are searching for a better life illuminated the roads through Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Entrance to the screenings is free of charge, and after the broadcasting of the films, will be organized a panel discussion: “Human Rights on Film – Impact on the Public”.

“Given that we announced the competition for applications relatively late and that the competition itself lasted a short time, we are satisfied with the response and the quality of the films we received. The revue is limited to one day, so we will not be able to broadcast all the films that have arrived, but we are sure that the selection will be interesting and will open up many questions that we will try to answer in the panel discussion”, announced the Human Rights House.

The film revue will officially open the “Srđan Aleksić Days”, which will last until December 11 in Banja Luka.
