In order to spread the word about all the riches that this part of the hilly Balkans possesses, and the need to protect rivers, forests, endemic species of animals, etc., the Center for Environment and the Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly Banjaluka organized a four-day workshop “The Importance and Role of the Media in Environmental Protection”, where journalists were shown through workshops, but also a trip to Sana, and a climb to the hills, as well as other activities, why it is worth fighting to protect the natural beauty that this country has.
Participants of the workshop on their visit to Pecka from 14 to 17 June 2022 gave short interviews and expressed their opinions on the role and importance of the media in environmental protection and how significant is to with common forces safe the greatest wealth that Bosnia and Herzegovina has – natural beauty.
