The third working meeting of the platform for ecofeminist action in Bosnia and Herzegovina EKOFEM BiH will be held in Banja Luka, at the “Jelena” Hotel, on October 13 and 14, 2023.
During this two-day conference, there will be interesting topics on the agenda and ecofeminists and activists will participate.
On Friday, we will start with a public lecture by Ph.D. Suzana Marjanić, scientific advisor from the Institute of Ethnology and Folklore Studies in Zagreb, who together with Goran Đurđević edited the extremely important anthology “Ecofeminism: Between Green and Women’s Studies”.
Workshops related to ecofeminist challenges today, and activist struggles on the ground around environmental justice and resistance to exploitative practices are planned for Saturday.
What is unique about EKOFEM conferences is the unification of environmental activism and feminism.
This conference is jointly organized by the Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly Banja Luka and the Association Front Freedom Tuzla.
