Breaking stereotypes about the role of women in our society

Within the campaign 16 Days of Activism against Gender Based Violence, activists of the Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly answered the call of the Student Organization of the Faculty of Law of the University in Banja Luka and on December 2 held workshop titled “Breaking Stereotypes about the Role of Women in our Society”. On this occasion students of the second year were presented by usual gender based stereotypes present in BH context as well as the forms of gender based violence as their consequence with the special emphasize on sexual harassment. In addition, Guidelines for the Prevention of Sexual and Gender-Based Harassment of the University of Banja Luka were presented and the contact of trusted persons who can be contacted if they are victims of alleged harassment is shared with the students.
