The International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women is celebrated on November 25 and should be marked by condemning all forms of violence such as: gender-based violence, domestic violence, rape, sexual harassment, violence committed by the state, including torture and abuse of women political prisoners because they represent a violation of human rights.
The global campaign of 16 days of activism against gender-based violence begins on November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and lasts until December 10, the International Human Rights Day.
During these 16 days, numerous civil society organizations are organizing activities to point out the problem and prevalence of gender-based violence in BiH and invite all authorities to get involved in solving this problem.
