Consequences and recommendations from this round table and two others that were held in Livno and Tuzla will be the basis for updating Platform which will be important advocacy tool for members of the Initiative Peace with Women’s Face in aspirations that recognized priorities of women be incorporated in state strategic documents such as Action Plan for the Implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 “Women, Peace and Security” in BiH, Gender Action Plan and others.
Round table is part of the project “Peace with Women’s Face – Women’s Initiative for Facing Past” which Foundation “Lara” Bijeljina and “HO Horizons” Tuzla implement in partnership with another 11, mostly women’s, civil society organizations from BiH. With joint actions they advocate for gender responsible transitional justice policies, building peace and integrating gender aspects in the remembrance culture in public space.
