Financial and administrative assistant

Position description:
The Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly Banja Luka is looking for a financial and administrative assistant who will work together with the financial manager on several different projects and daily activities of the association.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Financial tasks:
- Daily records of financial changes;
- Preparation of orders for the calculation of fees and payments;
- Receipt of incoming invoices and payments,
- Daily communication with bookkeeping;
- Preparation of project budgets;
- Preparation of financial reports;
- Communication with donors;
- Communication with the bank;
- Other financial tasks.
- Administrative tasks
- Recording and storage of financial project documentation;
- Preparation of documentation for financial reports;
- Preparation of documentation for bookkeeping;
- Recording and archiving of financial and other documentation of the association,
- Other administrative tasks.
The minimum requirements that the candidate must meet are:
- SSS, VS or VSS in economics
- Computer skills (MS Office)
- Knowledge of the English language
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Responsibility and respect for deadlines
- Willingness for continuous improvement
Work experience is not necessary because the selected person will have a mentor at the beginning of his/her engagement.
