“Forum on Gender Equality” is underway in Brussels, first of such kind, organized by European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE). The forum gathered huge number of experts, activists and decision makers from the European Union and the state candidates and potential candidates for EU membership. This is “the key crossroad in EIGE’s campaign 2022 for building economy which this institute does for women, men, little girls and little boys in their diversity by undertaking #3StepsForward”.
Within forum will be held and closed session for representatives of governments and civil society from state candidates for EU membership and potential candidates which will also be attended by Dragana Dardić, on behalf HCA BL.
One of the topics on this session will be related to EU Directive on Gender Equality in Steering Committees which introduces obligatory quota in order to ensure that women have at least 40% of places in corporative steering committees of the companies.
