This document serves as a basis for the expansion of project activities to thematic areas that have so far been gender neglected in BiH, such as the issue of green transition. Its main purpose is to trace further plans and partnerships through the initial mapping of basic modalities for including the gender component in policies, strategies and practices concerning the environment and climate change. Special attention was given to the following components of introducing a gender perspective in:
- processes of creating laws or strategies concerning the environment and climate change.
- Reports on the Progress of BiH (Country Report BiH) prepared by the European Commission, especially in the part related to chapter 27 Environment and climate change.
- further work of HCA Banjaluka and other associations of citizens on raising awareness of the connection between gender and the environment and work on including the gender component in policies concerning energy, biodiversity, transport and climate change.
