Representative of the Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly Banja Luka attended in Brussels the presentation of the report on the rights of women in the Western Balkans. This publication provides significant information in terms of women’s rights for six countries and those are: North Macedonia, Montenegro, BiH, Serbia, Kosovo and Albania. This is the sixth edition of the report. Four fields included in this publication are women in politics, gender based violence, safety of the human rights defenders and women in the labour market because these are the priority fields which Foundation Kvinna till Kvinna and partner organizations identified as important for improving the rights of women. Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly as partner organization gave its contribution in creating this publication. Report analyzes current trends and gives recommendations to government officials and EU.
