On April 20, the third networking meeting of free legal aid providers was held in Zenica, attended by representatives of the Cantonal Institute for the Provision of Free Legal Aid in Bihać, the Cantonal Institute for the Provision of Legal Aid in Zenica, the Association Labour Movement, the Cantonal Institute for the Provision of Legal Aid in Goražde, BH Journalists-Line for legal aid, the County Institute for the Provision of Legal Aid of the Herzegovina-Bosnia County, and the Foundation United Women. At the meeting was agreed that the members of the network will continue to communicate using the Viber online communication platform, and the aspects of establishing the Code of Ethics of the newly established Network were discussed. Also, the meeting was an opportunity for the new members to meet and exchange contacts and experience working with the most sensitive categories of the population.
The meeting in Zenica is part of the project “Strengthening of Legal Aid Providers to Fight Discrimination Based on Sex/Gender in the Labor Market in BiH” which is implemented on the territory of BiH by the Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly Banja Luka, with the financial support of the Embassy of the United States of America in BiH.
