FIRST POLICY BRIEF: Integrating sexual extortion into laws and regulations

The first in a series of Policy Briefs, prepared by the Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly Banja Luka, is published as part of the “16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence”, and this Policy Brief aims to present the possible integration of sexual extortion into the framework of the law and offers a brief analysis of the relevant parts of the Law on Gender Equality in Bosnia and Herzegovina and recommendations for its amendment.

Sexual extortion is a specific form of sexual harassment and exploitation that contains elements of gender-based violence and corruption.
