Meeting with the President of the Advisory Board for Gender Equality of the University of Banja Luka and the Vice-Rector

At the meeting, which was held on January 26, with Assistant Prof. Dr. Anđelo Pepić, President of the Advisory Board for Gender Equality of the University of Banja Luka and Prof. Dr. Dalibor Kesić, vice-rector for material and human resources, was presented the campaign “Sexual Extortion is Corruption. Let’s Break the Silence!” and the possibility of integrating sexual extortion into various legislative acts in the Republic of Srpska, and specifically when it comes to faculties, into the Law on Higher Education and possibly other regulations.

We also got introduced with the previous activities of the UNIBL Advisory Board for Gender Equality.

The meeting was held within the project “Citizens in the Fight against Silent Corruption”.

The Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly presented the results of the Research on the prevalence of sexual extortion in society, as well as the Analysis of regulations related to sexual extortion.

In the above mentioned Analysis, a recommendation was made that the concept of sexual extortion should be integrated into the Law on Higher Education, in the article that refers to the violation of teacher integrity.
