On November 4, 2022 we have spoken with students of Faculty of Law of the University in Banja Luka on sexual harassment, manifestations, incrimination and opportunities for protection and prevention.
University in Banja Luka adopted Guidelines for the Prevention of Sexual and Gender-Based Harassment and thus expressed will that principles of gender equality to be respected and that an atmosphere of mutual respect between students, academy personnel and all employed to be created.
We promoted Guidelines in cooperation with the Foundation United Women and called all if suffer sexual and gender-based harassment to encourage themselves and report such unwanted behaviors. Prof. Dr. Ivanka Marković introduced student with terms of sexual harassment and normative legal framework in this field.
Activity is part of the project “Banja Luka – A City with Zero Tolerance for Sexual Violence and Harassment” which is implemented by Foundation United Women, supported by UN Women Bosnia and Herzegovina and funded by Sweden.
