Presentation of the Guidelines for the Prevention of Sexual and Gender-Based Harassment at the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Banja Luka

In cooperation with the Foundation United Women and within the project “Banja Luka – A City with Zero Tolerance for Sexual Violence and Sexual Harassment – Phase II” which is implemented by United Women within UN Women Initiative on October 28, 2022 we held workshop with students from the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Banja Luka.

Andrea Rakanović Radonjić, senior assistant at the Department of Social Work, Faculty of Political Sciences, introduced students with the term and forms of sexual harassment as well as with sexual violence in public space. 

Representative of the Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly Banja Luka presented document and introduced students with content of the “Guidelines for the Prevention of the Sexual and Gender-Based Harassment”. University in Banja Luka adopted this internal document last year and it is related to internal proceedings for preventing activities in regards to issues of sexual and gender-based harassment as well as the procedures of protection and measures of preventing sexual and gender-based harassment amongst all employed at the University and students.
