Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly attended a meeting related to the UPR – Universal Periodic Review, which is a unique mechanism of the Human Rights Council, and invites each UN member state to report on activities undertaken to improve the human rights situation. The meeting was organized by the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees as a working gathering of civil society and institutions in Teslić on March 11 and 12, with the aim of discussing the UPR report and future cooperation. A special part of the meeting was the review of recommendations on the basis of which the new report will be written and in what form and capacity civil society organizations can contribute.
